The NUHS Centre Grant encompasses two RIE2025 umbrella themes – Precision Medicine (PM) and Chronic Disease Prevention and Management (CDPM).
Our core facilities offer cost-effective access to state-of-the-art equipment and guide researchers in developing projects and furthering their research.
The PM Theme aims to create a research platform to facilitate the next generation of researchers, using patient-level data-driven multi-omics integration and application to enhance patients’ care delivery and health outcomes. To this end, a repository of bio-samples, and genomic, clinical and administrative data hosted on scalable computational infrastructure, will be developed. This encompasses three facility cores:
- Hospital Biobank Core
- Genomic and Omics Core
- Data and Analytic Core
The main focus of the CDPM theme is to support the design, implementation, and evaluation of complex multimodal interventions to reduce the morbidity and mortality of chronic diseases. It encompasses the following facility cores:
- Telehealth Core (Digital Patient-Centred Care Core)
- Metabolic Phenotyping Sub-core
- Neurocognitive Sub-core
- Strength & Physical Function Sub-core
- Clinical Imaging Research Centre (CIRC) Sub-core
- Centre for Translational MR Research (TMR) Sub-core
