The Neurobehavioural Core provides assessments (including standardised tests, structured/semi-structured interviews and observer/self-rated instruments) in the following areas. These assessments may be performed either by a clinician or a trained staff.

  1. Anxiety symptoms (eg, generalised anxiety, social anxiety, specific phobias)
  2. Mood symptoms
  3. Obsessive-compulsive symptoms
  4. Psychotic symptoms (eg, hallucinations, delusions, disorganised speech, affect blunting)
  5. Somatic symptoms (eg, functional bowel, chronic fatigue, pain)
  6. Stress / emotional distress / trauma symptoms (eg, burnout, caregiver stress, post-traumatic stress disorder [PTSD])
  7. Addictive behaviour (eg, gaming, gambling, substance, alcohol)
  8. Eating behaviour
  9. Sleeping behaviour
  10. Self-injurious behaviour
  11. Behaviors in children/adolescents (eg, inattention, hyperactivity, autism)
  12. Behaviours in the elderly (eg, behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia)
  13. Neurobehavioural effects of psychotropics / centrally acting drugs
  14. Neurobehavioural effects of brain injury / organic brain disease
  15. Cognitive assessments
  16. Personality assessments
  17. Quality-of-life assessments
  18. Social / occupational function assessments
