About Us

The Strength and Physical Function Core supports the evaluation of physical and functional outcomes in conditions such as neurological and musculoskeletal disorders including stroke, cardiac diseases and frailty/ageing.

Our occupational therapists (OTs), physical therapists (PTs) and speech therapists (STs) are trained to perform standardised measures of motor and sensory impairment as well as assessments of speech and language, cognitive function, community participation and quality of life.

The core also offers motion analysis, gait mat measures and corticospinal excitability assessments through Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS).
