The graduate programme at the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine nurtures and trains highly competent medical researchers, biomedical scientists, as well as clinician-scientists who will spearhead and drive global medical biotechnology efforts.

We offer both MSc and PhD progammes. By the end of your graduate training with us:

PhD graduates would have acquired:

• sufficient depth and understanding of your field of research;
• the ability to think independently and creatively;
• the ability to identify important questions and formulate testable hypotheses;
• the ability to run an independent research program after an appropriate period of further post-doctoral training.

MSc graduates would have acquired:

• the technical competence to support a research project under minimal supervision;
• sufficient depth and understanding of your own field of research.
