Application Portal and Process

START NEW APPLICATION

A student can only put up 1 application/student at any one point.
Each student is allowed to put up 5 posting requests in NO order of preference within 1 application
Overall postings application must be consecutive; there should not be a 1-week gap between postings within the same application.

BEA nominee, please tick the BEA checkbox when applying and email medelectives@nus.edu.sg with your application number after all documents are submitted
Students must submit their completed application within 1 month of creating a draft. If no payment or document submission is made within this period, the system will automatically cancel the application. To reopen a cancelled application, students will need to write to medelectives@nus.edu.sg. This process ensures that only active applications are maintained

Students with existing CEPOVS applications, please do not submit a new application under ISCEP. Please email NUS Medicine Electives Team to check on your application status

Setup an ISCEP account

Complete Section 1 & 2 of the application

Application Fee & Fulfill the documentation required

Application will be auto cancelled after 1 month if not submitted

Posting Selection

Elective Team will review for documentation completeness

Estimated timeline for review is 4-5 weeks

6 –

Posting request will be route to requested hospital/department

This can only be done after document review

7 –

Hospital will respond to outcome

Hospital/Department are given up to 6 weeks to offer/reject placement request

8 –

Student Acceptance/Rejection

If a placement being offered, the student has to respond to the offer within 2 weeks.
