Clinician Scientist Funding Support
CS Pilot Grant
available only to NUHS clinicians enrolled in PCP or CSDU Mentorship Programme
The CS Pilot Grant provides a 2-years non-renewable funding to support principal investigators in generating preliminary data for clinical and translation research project, in preparation for submission to the various funding agencies. e.g. NMRC, MOH or other peer-reviewed grant applications.
Eligibility
Applicants must be NUHS clinicians enrolled in PCP or CSDU Mentorship Programme.
Funding Quantum
Successful applicants will be awarded up to S$30,000 for a period of 2 years.
CS Grant
available to NUHS clinicians pursuing PhD (funded by NMRC RTF), post-NIG or post-TA
The CSDU Grant provides 3 years of non-renewable funding to support principal investigators (PIs) in advancing their research projects and establishing their independent research trajectory.
Eligibility
Applicant PI must be NUHS clinicians enrolled in PCP or CSDU Mentorship Programme.
Funding Quantum
Successful applicants will be awarded up to S$200,000 for a period of 3 years.
Academic Fellowship
• Clinicians in NUHS institutions who have strong ambition and aptitude to become national clinician-scientists and to eventually join NUS as faculty • Evidenced by strong track record in research (publications, grants, awards) • Deemed ready to apply for NMRC TA or CSA (any of the three categories) within 18 months • Strong support from department in terms of time from clinical or admin duties
