Personalized Career Plan (PCP)

Through the PCP programme, each budding clinician-scientist (CS) develops a personalized plan after assessing his or her specific career goals, research strengths and scientific needs. A PCP helps clinician-scientists to achieve their goals in research by working with them to develop a personalized research development plan and linking them to mentors and to resources (including but not limited to funding) within NUSMed.
A key feature of this programme is the provision of personalised administrative support by CS-managers who track the progress of individuals. Another critical element is the close partnership with the leadership of clinical departments where these clinicians work, in order to achieve optimal output in research and clinical work for these individuals.
