CS Pilot Grant
available only to NUHS clinicians enrolled in PCP or CSDU Mentorship Programme
CSDU endeavours to support the early career development of Clinician Scientists or Clinician Investigators within the NUHS community. The CS Pilot Grant provides a 18-month non-renewable funding to support principal investigators in generating preliminary data for clinical and translation research project, in preparation for submission to the various funding agencies. e.g. NMRC, MOH or other peer-reviewed grant applications.
Eligibility
Applicants must be NUHS clinicians enrolled in PCP or CSDU Mentorship Programme.
Funding Quantum
Successful applicants will be awarded up to S$30,000 for a period of 18 months.
CS Grant
available to NUHS clinicians pursuing PhD (funded by NMRC RTF), post-NIG or post-TA
With the engagement of experienced senior clinician researchers, the CS Grants is aimed at developing junior clinician investigators (CI) and clinician scientists (CS). The CS Grant anchors on three key components of collaboration, training and mentoring. The grant is awarded to a pair mentee and mentor, with the aim of advancing the research career of the mentee. The pair may collaborate on a project in the field of clinical, translational or health services research.

Applicant PI must be NUHS clinicians enrolled in PCP or CSDU Mentorship Programme.
Funding Quantum
Successful applicants will be awarded up to S$200,000 for a period of 18 months.
NUSMed B2B Collaboration Grant
Grant call annually to promote collaboration between budding CS and young scientist counterparts within the NUS Medicine community.
The NUSMed B2B Collaboration Grant awards funding for collaborations between budding clinician-scientists and their young scientist counterparts in NUS Medicine. The funding aims to foster collaboration between two junior Principal Investigators (PIs), specifically a clinician and a research fellow from two different NUS Medicine departments.
The NUSMed B2B Collaboration Grant encourages clinician-scientists to collaborate with their PhD-trained scientist counterparts at NUS Medicine to generate translational research with potential for bench-to-bedside or bedside-to-bench applications. The fund is aimed at helping PIs develop a research project for publication in high-quality journals and/or to prepare for a joint large competitive grant.
Eligibility
Applicants must be two Principal Investigators (PIs), a clinician and a research fellow from NUS Medicine. Each applicant may only submit one application.
Funding Quantum
Successful applicants will be awarded up to S$60,000 for a period of 2 years, to be shared between the two PIs.
