The NUS Nursing Class of 2023 celebrates at Commencement

The Commencement ceremony for the NUS Nursing Class of 2023 was held at the NUS University Cultural Centre on 9 July 2023.  Graduates from the Alice Lee Centre for Nursing Studies attended the ceremony with their family members, friends and loved ones, leaving almost no empty seats in the hall. The event had NUS Pro-Chancellor, Mr Po’ad Bin Shaik Abu Bakar Mattar, hand out certificates to about 400 graduates from the programmes: Doctor of Philosophy – Nursing, Master of Nursing, Bachelor of Science (Nursing) with Honours, Bachelor of Science (Nursing) and Bachelor of Science (Nursing Practice).

The Commencement ceremony was attended by Po’ad Bin Shaik Abu Bakar Mattar, NUS Pro-Chancellor, Prof Tan Eng Chye, President of NUS, Prof Chong Yap Seng, Dean of NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, Assoc Prof Liaw Sok Ying, Head of NUS Alice Lee Centre for Nursing Studies, and other faculty members.

Graduates from NUS Nursing received their certificates from the Commencement ceremony on 9 July 2023.

Tang Lian Kwang, Valedictorian from the Class of 2023, received several awards for his outstanding academic achievements.

About 400 graduates attended the NUS Nursing Commencement ceremony.
