Associate Professor Reshma Taneja appointed Acting Head of Department, Physiology

Assocate Professor Reshma Taneja has been appointed as Acting Head, Department of Physiology, at the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, with effect from 15 October 2019.
Assoc Prof Taneja has been with the Department of Physiology since 2008. She was the Research Director in the department from 2009 to 2016 and has been Deputy Head since 2018.
Assoc Prof Taneja has long-standing interest in skeletal muscle biology and epigenetic deregulation in myopathies. Additionally, she has a strong track record in both research and education, and is a recipient of several research, teaching and mentoring awards in the United States and in NUS.
Once again, congratulations to Assoc Prof Taneja on her new appointment, and our deepest appreciation to Assoc Prof Lim Kah Leong for his leadership as Head, Department of Physiology from 1 Februrary 2018 to 14 October 2019.
