The Department of Medicine is renowned for its commitment to excellence in medical research, with a focus on advancing medical knowledge and improving patient outcomes. The department engages in a wide range of cutting-edge research initiatives that span various medical disciplines, including but not limited to internal medicine, rheumatology, dermatology, respiratory and critical care medicine, gastroenterology, infectious diseases, neurology, rehabilitation medicine, gerontology and endocrinology.
