The Chan Heng Leong Research Award aims to encourage
early researchers to pursue further research, and to
promote a culture of discovery and scientific
exploration in Department of Medicine.
The funding quantum is capped at $5,000 per award and
the funding duration is up to 1 year. The funds may be
used for operational needs (e.g. materials and
consumables, subject reimbursement, small equipment
etc), and conference/travel expenses. There is no
indirect research cost (IRC) provided for this award.
This award is open to the Internal Medicine (IM)
Residents and Senior Residents in the Department of
Medicine. Ethics approval (if applicable) must be
obtained prior to the application and commencement of
the project.
