PhD Student Receives Scholar-in-Training Travel Award at San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium 2015

Congratulations to Ms Cai Wanpei, a PhD student from Dr Alan Prem Kumar’s group for receiving the highly competitive and prestigious Avon-AACR International Scholar-in-Training Travel Award that amounts to USD$2,000 to attend and present her PhD work at the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium 2015. She was selected to receive this award because her exceptional research work in Triple Negative Breast Cancers is highly rated by the Abstract Selection Committee. San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium (SABCS) 2015, held on 8 -12 December in San Antonio, Texas, is an international five-day program attended by academics, private researchers and clinicians from over 90 countries. The Symposium aims to achieve a balance of clinical, translational, and basic research, providing a forum for interaction, communication, and education for a broad spectrum of researchers, health professionals, and those with a special interest in breast cancer.
