What is Project RESET?

Project RESET is a 5-year government-funded research initiative. It aims to gain a deeper understanding about the population’s metabolism, heart, and liver health as well as lifestyle behaviour to prevent heart diseases, including heart attack and stroke.

What to expect?

You may be eligible if you are 40-70 years old, and have any of the following:

  • High blood pressure.
  • High cholesterol.
  • Fatty liver.
  • Family history of heart diseases or stroke.
  • Obesity

Unfortunately, you will not be eligible if you have a prior history of heart attack or stroke or balloon angioplasty/stent placement.

Your involvement in Project RESET will allow us in our healthcare institutions to gain insights into the health and lifestyle behaviour within the Singapore community. By identifying the missing pieces, we can reduce the prevalence of heart diseases, and live longer and healthier lives as a nation. Through our combined efforts, we will further elevate the prominence of Singapore Medicine on the global stage.
