Dr Win Pa Pa Thu, Angelica

Angelica completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Medicine 2, Yangon, Myanmar in 2014. Subsequently, she moved to Singapore to begin her clinical research career with the department. As part of menopause research team with Principal Investigator Prof Yong Eu Leong and Co-investigator Dr Susan Logan, Angelica has developed research protocols, formulated study questionnaires and contributed to the design and management of clinical trials. She assembled the research clinic for Integrated Women’s Health Program: an ongoing longitudinal cohort to and address health care needs of mid-life Singaporean women. She has received Top Scoring Abstract Award from RCOG World Congress in 2018 and Best Young Investigator Oral Presentation Prize at the Asia Pacific Menopause Federation Conference in 2017. She is currently enrolled in the graduate research program in Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. Her current research interest centres around epidemiology of midlife women’s health and population-level interventions particularly for osteoporosis, hip fracture, and menopause.
