Promoting children’s health and wellbeing and providing parental support for children with various health conditions
Healthy women and children are the linchpins of healthy and thriving societies – making women and children health care essential.
This research programme targets the research of different designs aiming to improve the health outcomes, cost-effective and quality of care to women and children with various health conditions and their caregivers. A variety of innovative interventions, such as psychoeducational intervention, psychosocial intervention and educational interventions, with or without new technologies incorporated, have been developed for these populations. We have published over 200 peer-reviewed journal articles in this programme. By working with more international and national multidisciplinary teams, we aim to develop more technology-based solutions to improve the quality of care of our clients, while reducing healthcare costs.
