“As a mentor, I have been able to expand my personal and professional growth while also assuming the roles of a confidant and senior advisor. Although there were times when I felt uncertain about my role, I remained committed to providing academic guidance and moral support to my mentees. While my primary focus was on assisting with academic concerns, I made sure to also offer words of encouragement during exam periods. Despite these efforts, however, there were instances where I found myself struggling to identify how best to support my mentees.”
