ROY

Welcome to Roy!

Roy is named after nursing theorist and professor Callista Roy, who developed the Roy Adaptation Model (RAM)—a testament to patient care, advocacy, and innovation in healthcare.

Roy’s vision is to inspire future nurses to strive for excellence, embrace lifelong learning, and develop skills that foster empathy, resilience, and leadership in the profession.

Roy House embodies this vision, encouraging every nursing student to support one another while balancing academic challenges. Together, we create a strong, compassionate community that nurtures both professional growth and well-being, ensuring that every member thrives in their nursing journey.

Peer Mentoring Programme Testimonials

Being part of the PMP has been greatly valuable for my nursing journey thus far. My mentor is approachable and goes the extra mile to help me, sharing plenty of resources and tips for academics and clinicals. Having a senior who has gone through the same classes and experiences I am going through now has helped reassure me, as well as helped me navigate and adapt to uni life better :)”

– Aletheia (Mentee)

Being a peer mentor in the nursing mentorship program has been a fulfilling experience. Watching my mentee grow in confidence and skill has been incredibly rewarding. I shared tips and resources to help her excel academically and clinically. Guiding her through challenges reinforced my passion for nursing, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to support her.”
