Dr Zeng is an Assistant Professor at the National University of Singapore. Driven by the global aging population challenge, she is actively engaged in applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) to elderly care. She co-led the development of guidelines for the digital-intelligence construction of integrated monitoring, early warning, and intervention systems in rehabilitation institutions. Additionally, she played a key role in drafting the research proposal titled “Plateau Smart Health and Wellness Cross-Provincial Industry-Education Integration ‘Cloud-Link Health and Care’ Community,” a project that recently secured 46 million RMB in research funding from Qinghai Province, China.
Supported by prestigious grants such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Dr. Zeng has authored over 90 publications in international peer-reviewed healthcare journals and delivered nearly 20 presentations at international conferences. She holds two invention patents and six software copyrights, with one invention patent successfully translated into clinical research. Her extensive collaborations in cancer and cognition research have made a significant impact on improving cognitive function and quality of life for cancer survivors.
Dr. Zeng serves as an Associate Editor for renowned journals, including the Journal of Cancer Survivorship, and is a board member for Integrative Cancer Therapies and the Asia-Pacific Journal of Oncology Nursing. She has reviewed manuscripts for over 20 international healthcare journals, such as the International Journal of Nursing Studies. Her academic excellence has been recognized through several accolades, including the Pi Iota Chapter Scholarship Award (2009–10) for her outstanding scholastic achievements. In 2021, she was honored as a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing (FAAN) for her sustained contributions to nursing research. Dr. Zeng has also been named a Top 2% Scientist globally for four consecutive years (2021–2024) and was listed among career-impact scientists in 2024.
Dr. Zeng’s research focuses on technology-driven innovations, particularly leveraging AI to enhance cancer care and manage chronic diseases. Her pioneering contributions to clinical medicine and nursing have advanced patient care strategies, integrating cutting-edge technologies to improve outcomes for diverse populations. Her dedication to innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration has established her as a leading figure in the field, inspiring advancements that bridge the gap between technology and healthcare.
