Programme Overview
This course aims to provide an opportunity for practitioners to acquire knowledge and skills to guide learners in applying classroom knowledge to real-world situations. Practitioners are required to draw on theoretical knowledge and clinical experience gained through the course to conduct a clinical teaching session at the point of care.
Aims of Programme
This programme aims to allow participants to:
- discuss the characteristics, roles and responsibilities of an effective preceptor;
- apply adult learning theories and clinical teaching skills to enhance clinical learning;
- assess learners’ performance and provide effective feedback to improve learning; and
- conduct a clinical teaching session to learners using clinical teaching moments.

2 full days from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
- Who Should Attend
Healthcare professionals such as nurses and allied health professionals who wish to provide clinical teaching and supervision to develop capabilities and competencies of students and professionals.
