To be eligible to apply for admission to the Master of Science (Infection Prevention and Control), applicants need to present one of the following:
Master of Science (Infection Prevention and Control)
Bachelor’s degree in nursing with a minimum GPA of 3.00 with at least 1 year of relevant work experience
Other Requirements
Candidates with other qualifications and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis, subjected to approval.
As the medium of instruction is English, applicants whose native tongue and medium of University instruction is not English must complete the Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum score of 85 (internet-based test) or International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with a minimum score of 6.
Applicants who have obtained an Asia Pacific Society of Infection Control (APSIC) certificate within the last 5 years (prior to the date of admission to the University) and have successfully passed the placement test will be granted credits for NUR5505 Contemporary Science of Infection Prevention and Control.
