Admission Requirements
To be eligible to apply for admission to the Master of Science (Infection Prevention and Control), applicants need to present one of the following:
- Master of Science (Infection Prevention and Control)
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing with a minimum GPA of 3.00 with at least 1 year of relevant work experience
- Other Requirements
- Candidates with other qualifications and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis, subjected to approval.
- As the medium of instruction is English, applicants whose native tongue and medium of University instruction is not English must complete the Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum score of 85 (internet-based test) or International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with a minimum score of 6.
- Applicants who have obtained an Asia Pacific Society of Infection Control (APSIC) certificate within the last 5 years (prior to the date of admission to the University) and have successfully passed the placement test will be granted credits for NUR5505 Contemporary Science of Infection Prevention and Control.
