The Alice Lee Centre for Nursing Studies at the National University of Singapore (NUS Nursing) is celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2025 with a major milestone: 12 of its faculty have been ranked among the world’s top 2% most cited scientists in a Stanford University study. The recognised faculty are:
The Stanford study, which evaluates standardised citation metrics to measure global scientific influence, affirms the quality and impact of NUS Nursing’s research across chronic illness and long-term care, education innovation, healthy ageing and community care, the nursing workforce, and women’s and children’s health.
The accolade follows NUS Nursing’s eighth place ranking worldwide in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2025.
Professor Liaw Sok Ying, Head of NUS Nursing, said: “These accolades reflect the global relevance of our research. As we celebrate 20 years, we remain committed to advancing innovations in nursing and healthcare for Singapore and the world.”
