Ms. Lim is a teaching assistant at the Alice Lee Centre for Nursing Studies and a registered nurse in Singapore. She teaches courses on the Fundamentals of Care, medical-surgical nursing, and simulation. Before joining NUS, she gained extensive experience in nephrology nursing in both the public and private sectors of Singapore and Malaysia. She helped implement evidence-based practices that improve patients’ quality of life. Her career in nephrology spanned two decades with the National Kidney Foundation (NKF) Singapore, KDF Singapore, and a private dialysis chain (Kidney Dialysis Centres), where she served as a nurse manager and clinical nurse specialist.

Ms. Lim led a nursing team at Fresenius Medical Care in the clinical department and at Gambro to provide training for dialysis nurses in Singapore and Malaysia. She was involved in the development of quality assurance protocols for dialysis services at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital and KDF. She also cared for patients in the general medical ward at National University Hospital for a decade.

Ms. Lim hopes to inspire the next generation of thoughtful, caring nurses and provide them with quality, safe nursing care.
