9th International Nurse Education Conference

Want to deepen your knowledge of nursing and learn from healthcare leaders from around the world? NUS Nursing invites you to join us at the 9th International Nursing Education Conference (NETNEP), held at Singapore Expo from 27-30 October 2024, to learn the latest research and innovations in nursing, midwifery and healthcare education from global experts.

On 30 October 2024, NUS Nursing professors and faculty will lead the following programmes:

• 7.30 am-8.30 am: “Enhancing clinical competency: Leveraging immersive virtual reality in nursing education” (Sponsored workshop led by Associate Professor Lau Siew Tiang, Assistant Professor Shawn Goh Yong-Shian, and Mr John Yap)
• 8 am-8.45 am: “Connecting the dots for simulation-based education: Looking backward and moving forward” (Keynote by Professor Liaw Sok Ying)

Attendees are also invited to take an optional tour of the NUS Nursing campus, featuring simulation training facilities, the Virtual Reality Lab, and a brand-new working space.

The opening will take place on 28 October 2024, 8 am, with guest-of-honour Madam Rahayu Mahzam, Minister of State for Health and Digital Development and Information. Join us for this excellent opportunity to network with delegates from over 40 countries, including researchers, students, clinicians, and leaders in nursing and healthcare education.
