“As a mentor, I have been able to expand my personal and professional growth while also assuming the roles of a confidant and senior advisor. Although there were times when I felt uncertain about my role, I remained committed to providing academic guidance and moral support to my mentees. While my primary focus was on assisting with academic concerns, I made sure to also offer words of encouragement during exam periods. Despite these efforts, however, there were instances where I found myself struggling to identify how best to support my mentees.”

“Peer Mentoring Programme has provided me with a sense of security and clarity on my nursing journey at NUS. Through the guidance of my mentor, I have gained confidence and a clear direction for my academic and career pursuits. My mentor has been a valuable source of support, not only in my studies but also in fostering a strong friendship with a senior who shares my passion for the healthcare industry. Peer Mentoring Programme has not only equipped me with the necessary skills and knowledge but has also enriched my university experience.”
