The Alice Lee Centre for Nursing Studies (NUS Nursing) achieves a historic milestone, debuting in the global top 10 for Nursing in the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings 2025, ranking 8th in the world and 2nd in all of Asia. A truly remarkable leap of 12 places from the previous year, this achievement sets our position as a global leader in nursing education and research in stone.
Widely-referenced across the world, the QS rankings assess institutions based on key performance indicators, such as academic reputation, employer reputation, research citations per paper, research productivity and impact, serving as a critical benchmark for academic excellence and institutional standing on the global stage.
For NUS, the latest QS rankings for 2025 highlight Singapore’s growing prominence in world-class education and research, with NUS securing top 10 positions in 22 subjects—the highest number in history.
