Student raises funds to rebuild schools in Nepal

Joel Lim, Year 1 NUS Medicine student, raised $60,000 with the help of his peers and the Lee Foundation to rebuild two schools in Nepal. He received the National Youth Achievement award (NYAA) Gold Award from President Tony Tan at the NYAA ceremony on October 20.
