NUS Medicine Establishes International Council to Enhance Global Network

The NUS Medicine International Council (NIC) is an invitation-only group of international business leaders, academics and experts from various fields to advise the Yong Loo School of Medicine on its strategic development and to connect it to international constituencies.

Led by former US Ambassador to Singapore, Mr Frank Lavin, the NIC will deal with leading issues of the day in healthcare, public health policy, population studies and diseases. The Council will also identify promising opportunities and innovations across multi-disciplinary areas including information technology, engineering, computing, and social sciences.
