Associate Professor James Yip from NUS Medicine’s Department of Medicine, and Dr Keith Lim, Assistant Dean at NUS Medicine, were lauded at the National Health IT Summit 2017, after winning the award for National University Health System (NUHS) Value Driven Outcome in the category IT Excellence: Beyond Quality to Value. The ongoing project was mentioned in Health Minister Gan Kim Yong’s speech as a winning project which enables healthcare practitioners to use data to identify cost-effective clinical practices, reduce unnecessary variations and improve both cost and clinical outcomes.
