A*STAR and NUS launch joint imaging centre to further translational clinical research

Singapore’s newest national platform for research imaging, the Clinical Imaging Research Centre (CIRC), was officially opened on 11 November 2015, paving the way for further studies on the impact of new therapies in key disease areas such as tuberculosis, dementia and diabetes.

NUS making waves in the brave new world of Synthetic Biology

The National University of Singapore (NUS) announced the launch of a new research initiative called the NUS Synthetic Biology for Clinical and Technological Innovation (SynCTI) to further develop research capacity and capabilities in the emerging and fast-growing field, which has the potential to be the next engine for economic growth for technologically advanced countries, including Singapore.
