MACC - Studies and Trials

The MACC is actively recruiting participants for research projects to help us have a better understanding of dementia and cognitive decline. In the process, our participants also learn more about themselves and take an active role in the care of their own health and memory. Our studies are conducted under approved protocols that ensure the wellbeing, safety and privacy of our participants. We are also providing coordinating and psychometric rating services for clinical studies and clinical trial, click here to see our services.

Read more about our studies and do contact us if you are interested to join. You may take a quick memory screening test here to help us figure out which study would be the best fit for your cognition status.

Ongoing Studies - Active Recruitment

BMS Trial (COMING SOON)

BMS-986446 (also known as PRX005 and Anti-MTBR-Tau mAb; hereafter referred to as BMS-9986446) is a humanized immunoglobulin gamma-1 kappa monoclonal antibody that targets microtubule associated protein tau and its intended for the treatment of Alzheimer's Disease.

Ongoing Studies - Recruitment Followup

HARMONIZATION & HARMONIZATION-EXTENSION study

The HARMONIZATION project is an ambitious, ongoing longitudinal study aimed at unraveling the complexities of Vascular Cognitive Impairment (VCI) and dementia in a diverse cohort of individuals aged 50 and above. Click the image to read more about this study.

SINGER study

SINGER is a two-year clinical trial that aims to evaluate whether multidomain lifestyle intervention is effective in reducing cognitive decline and physical frailty in at risk elderly in Singapore. Click the image to read more about this study.

AHEAD Trial

The AHEAD Study tests whether intervening ahead of symptoms may prevent future memory loss and dementia. • The study looks at an investigational treatment aimed at delaying memory decline in people up to 20 years before the symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease appear.
