1. Application Fees (Payable upon application)

All applicants must pay a NON-REFUNDABLE application fee (inclusive of 9% GST) regardless of the outcome of the application.

Each student is only allow to submit one application.

2. Elective Fees (Payable after successful placement)

All elective fees must be paid at least 2 weeks before the start of your posting in Singapore.

3. Administrative Fees:

Any request for a change in discipline/ department/ hospital of postings will NOT be entertained after the application has been processed by the hospitals. You would need to submit a fresh application together with the application fee.

For changes in posting date (for any confirmed posting), applicants will be charged a non-refundable administrative fee of S$54.24 for each change request even if the department is unable to accommodate the change of dates. Please note that changes are subjected to the availability of vacancies and supervision.

Refund / Cancellation Policies

If you wish to cancel your posting, please contact us immediately. If you notify us at least 2 weeks before the start of the posting, any paid electives fees will be refunded in full. No refund will be given if notification is received less than 2 weeks before the start of a posting or if you withdraw after a posting has begun.

There will be no refund of electives fees for students who have to terminate their electives due to disciplinary action being meted out for failing to abide by the Code of Conduct of NUS Medicine and/ or the Singapore Authorities.
