Eligibility & Application Timeline

Language

Applicants must be bona fide undergraduate students of a medical school and already in their clinical years.

English is the medium of instruction and the language used for patient care in the relevant hospitals. It is not necessary for you to provide certification or proof of English Language proficiency. If English language is not your first language, you need to be able to understand and converse well in the language.

Application Timeline

Applicants can apply as early as 12 months in advance. However, applications must be submitted strictly at least 6 months before the desired start date, regardless of any prior arrangements.

Applications submitted less than 6 months in advance will not be considered. This policy ensures NUS Medicine have sufficient time to coordinate with hospitals and departments to prepare for your posting.
