Programme Highlights
Healthcare Informatics is an integral part in the provision of healthcare and fundamental to healthcare quality and improvement. The HI5101 course introduces participants to foundational concepts in healthcare informatics, healthcare data and regulations governing its use, consumer health technology and basics of data visualization. It will be delivered by experienced faculty through the use of case studies, discussions and hands-on experience with various consumer health technology and a data visualization tool.
This course is stackable and completion of 3 other courses within a 24-month candidature period will lead to an Executive Certificate in Healthcare Improvement via Informatics.

Pre-Requisites and Assessment
Participants are required to be an existing employee of a healthcare institution, a community healthcare provider, or working in a healthcare setting.
Assessment component includes multiple choice questions.
Awards and Certification
The HI5101 course is stackable and completion of 3 other courses within a 24-month candidature period will lead to an Executive Certificate in Healthcare Improvement via Informatics.

1) All self-sponsored Singaporeans aged 25 and above can use their SkillsFuture Credit to pay for the course fee.
2) Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy (MCES): Singaporeans aged 40 and above may enjoy subsidies up to 90% of the course fee.
3) Enhanced Training Support for SMEs (ETSS): SME-sponsored employees (Singapore Citizens and PRs) may enjoy subsidies up to 90% of the course fee.
4) Long Term Visit Pass-Plus (LTVP+) holders may enjoy SSG subsidies. Terms and conditions apply.
As this is a SSG-approved course, learners must pass all assessment components to successfully complete the course and receive a Certificate of Completion. Learners may have to bear the full course fee if they fail to meet this requirement.

Sem 2 AY2024/2025 Registration will open on 04 October 2024 and close on 01 November 2024.

Points to note
- Course submission closes on 01 November 2024 (Friday) 23:59HR (strictly no extension will be given). No payment is collected now, as the courses are ongoing registration.
- As part of the submission requirement for academic courses, please prepare to upload your NRIC (front and back) / transcript / Certification during the application.
- All applicants will be notified of the application outcome (offered/rejected) ~ 4 weeks after registration closing. You will need to accept/reject the course offering by then & the school’s administrative & finance team will contact all applicants to proceed with administration & corp billing/payment/ Skillsfuture application in stages.
- Courses are not offered on a first-come, first-serve basis. A committee will review all applications base on the eligibility criteria.
- Student Services Fee of $25.70 is payable for the semester after enrolling in the academic course.
