Biography
Dr Keri McCrickerd is a behavioural scientist and Chartered Psychologist, and Executive Director of the Centre for Holistic Initiatives for Learning and Development (CHILD) at the National University of Singapore Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. She holds a joint appointment as Principal Scientist at the Institute for Human Development and Potential (A*STAR IHDP).
Through CHILD, Keri leads a translational research centre dedicated to accelerating the use of evidence in policy and practice to improve the health and well-being of children and families, working in close partnership with government agencies, community organisations, and early childhood service providers. Her research integrates behavioural and implementation science to design, evaluate, and implement interventions that promote healthy development across preschool, clinical, and community settings, using participatory co-design and hybrid trial methodologies.
She is committed to building capacity in the application of these methods to strengthen programmes and services, through postgraduate teaching and supervision at NUS, and through training, workshops, and seminars for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers across the early childhood and health sectors.
