Shortlisted candidates will be invited for the Admissions Assessment – FSA & SJT.
Shortlisting will take place during the last week of March each year. As the time between receiving the assessment invitation and the actual assessment is short, we recommend regularly checking your NUS application account to ensure you do not miss the invitation.
Please be informed that the assessment dates are fixed, and there are no alternative dates for the assessment. Candidates must attend both the FSA (in person) and the SJT (online) to be considered for admission.
Re-scheduling your assessment within the stipulated dates is subjected to availability and only if you have a valid and substantiated reason with proof. Do note that travel is not a valid reason for rescheduling.
Only rescheduling requests submitted via email to medadmissions@nus.edu.sg will be considered. Candidates are advised to enable email notifications to ensure they are promptly alerted to any correspondence.

Shortlisting will take place during the last week of March each year.
Applicants can check the status of their application/shortlisting via the NUS Applicant Portal. You will not receive any hardcopy or email notifications. Applicants who provide a valid Singapore mobile number on the NUS Office of Admissions application form will receive an SMS notification.
Shortlisted candidates will be informed of their assessment dates and must attend both the FSA and SJT. Rescheduling the assessment is subject to availability and only if there is a valid and substantiated reason (e.g. on medical grounds, National Service obligations). Shortlisted candidates who are absent for any part of the assessment will not be considered for admission to Medicine.
NUS Medicine offers 280 places annually and shortlists approximately 1,200 candidates for the admissions assessment. These candidates are ranked based on their performance in the Focused Skills Assessment (FSA) and the Situational Judgement Test (SJT). The top 280 candidates will be offered a place in NUS Medicine, while the next 70 candidates will be placed on the reserve list and offered alternative courses, if applicable. All other candidates will also be offered alternative courses (if applicable).
