Women-and-Children-Health-Care-Level-2-2

The area of perinatal care aims to enhance perinatal mothers and their partners’ experiences and health outcomes.

We have obtained many research grants from the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Social and Family Development, National University Health System and the National University of Singapore to support studies in areas of mothers’ and fathers’ physical and psychosocial health, safe delivery, breastfeeding, as well as newborns and infant health, through the evaluation of the existing healthcare services. We have developed and implemented effective and cost-effective programmes to promote maternal and paternal health outcomes during the perinatal period. Mobile apps, websites, videos and booklets were developed to provide psychoeducational interventions for mothers and their families.
