Nursing workforce and competency development is linked to patient safety and quality of care. 

We have specifically focused on nursing recruitment and retention, nursing career advancement including development of advanced practice nursing, and competency-based training programmes to strengthen nursing workforce capability and competency. Our study in this area has significant implications to nursing education, practice and policy.
