Older adulthood introduces challenges involving declining health and physical function. While promoting wellness in older adults is an important aspect to healthy ageing, it might not be achievable due to misperceptions and lack of knowledge.
Therefore, this theme seeks to provide evidence-based information that distinguishes between deterioration due to normal biological ageing process and deterioration due to diseases, with the aim of generating new knowledge and developing interventions to establish the relationship between ageing and wellness.
