Major Events’ Highlights
The three major events showcased in this page are planned solely by the NUS Nursing Sub-Club for NUS Nursing Students. We take pride in the planning and execution for these events. Here are some pictures to commemorate and look back on the memories that we have made!
Conventus
NUS Nursing Nurses’ Day hallmark celebratory event – Conventus. Conventus is an event organised by our team of students and their staff advisor, with the support of our valued sponsors. As part of the event, our students put on a concert to celebrate Nurses’ Day, showing their appreciation to the nurses out in the workforce. It also doubles as an ideal platform to inspire our incoming Nursing Freshmen as well as to motivate the nurses currently already in the workforce. Conventus is also a great avenue for Nursing Freshmen to gain valuable insights about the various hospitals and healthcare clusters in Singapore from the booths set up by various healthcare institutions at the end of the event.
FOC
The NUS Nursing Freshmen Orientation Camp, usually held between late June-Early July is intended to promote cohesion amongst the students matriculating in the incoming Academic Year 2023/2024 and orientate them to NUS as well as its facilities. Through this 3-4 day camp, the Freshmen will get the perfect opportunity to forge new friendships and bond with Seniors in NUS Nursing.
Prom
Prom is a newly initiated event by our students in Sub-Club. It is a one-day event for graduating seniors to celebrate and commemorate the end of their university lives and look back at their journey here in NUS before they start entering the workforce.
