“Being a mentor doesn’t mean that I am a ‘walking dictionary’ who knows everything and anything. However, with the knowledge I have, I am able to guide and help my mentees not only academically but also with university life. On the other hand, I even got to listen to their personal stories and learnt something from them. Furthermore, the group of mentees that were assigned to me was such a loveable bunch. Each and everyone had different interests and personality types. Hence, I am really glad that I have made the decision to join as a mentor for the Peer Mentoring Programme.”
– Celest (Mentor)
“I am glad I made the choice to sign up for Peer Mentoring Programme as my experience was amazing. I am so blessed and thankful to have Celest as my mentor. She was really approachable, warm and mature. She always gave her 100% to help her mentees, even when she was really busy with internships and personal commitments, especially without expecting anything in return. This inspired me to sign up as a mentor in the coming academic year so that I can pay it forward by supporting my juniors in their undergraduate years and beyond. I am looking forward to meeting my mentees :)”
