Dr Tanushri is a Programme Director for Bachelor of Science (Nursing Practice) – Year 1 and Senior Lecturer at the Alice Lee Centre for Nursing Studies, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and National University of Singapore. She has worked as a facilitator and lecturer in different educational institutions in Singapore since 2008. Her medical degree has helped her to teach and mentor nursing students as well as allied health students (physiotherapy, occupational therapy and radiography students) in areas of anatomy, physiology as well as pathophysiology. She is experienced in use of different pedagogies like blended learning; problem based learning, team exercises, proper use of Learning Management Systems as well as traditional teaching. Her education as well as experience in healthcare management has helped her to develop timely, accurate & actionable information as well as training to healthcare professionals in areas of healthcare management aspects like primary care management, awareness programs, conducting courses on areas like patient safety, healthcare quality, healthcare operations etc. A deep understanding of the market has led her to successfully conduct various health care projects in India, funded by World Bank, DFID, etc.
