Bachelor of Science (Nursing) / Bachelor of Science (Nursing) (Honours)

Graduation & Continuation

Programmes

To graduate, an undergraduate student must have a minimum GPA of 2.00. To remain in good academic standing, and to continue in an undergraduate programme of study, a student may not have GPA below 2.00 for two consecutive semesters.

For any semester in which the student’s GPA falls below 2.00, s/he will be placed on probation. If the student’s GPA remains below 2.00 for the second consecutive semester, the student will be issued a letter of dismissal by the Registrar and denied re-admission.

Students have to ‘Apply for Graduation’ (AFG) in Education Records System (EduRec) during the course registration period at the beginning of their graduating semester if they intend to graduate at the end of a particular semester. If the student does not do so, and if he/she is not eligible to continue with his/her Honours programme (ie. GPA>=3.2), the department will complete the AFG process on his/her behalf. Students can AFG or withdraw from AFG themselves anytime during the course registration period. Should the student changed their mind after the course registration period, they can email to nurleee@nus.edu.sg to make changes.
