NUS Nursing programmes have been recognised as one of the best in Asia as evidenced by the QS World University Rankings by Subject. The school has also been designated as an International Council of Nurses-accredited centre for research development. NUS Nursing is the only institution offering a programme for Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) registration, and accredited by the Singapore Nursing Board.

Currently, NUS Nursing offers two Masters programmes, which are Master of Nursing, and Master of Science (Nursing), as well as the Doctor of Philosophy for nurses who are keen in pursuing Postgraduate studies. PhD Graduates and Students

Students of the Alice Lee Centre for Nursing Studies enrolled in the PhD programmes get involved in supervised research in collaborations with expert nursing and medical staff to seek improvements in patient care and health services. Graduates will acquire sound grounding in translation of evidence to clinical practice and leadership skills to further nursing and healthcare-related research both nationally and internationally. At the end of their programme, they will submit a thesis to be evaluated by the Board of Examiners.

Master of Nursing Graduates and Students

NUS Nursing is the appointed institution by the Ministry of Health to conduct the Master of Nursing programme for Advanced Practice Nurse registration, accredited by the Singapore Nursing Board. This Post-graduate Nursing programme aims to broaden our students’ multidimensional abilities to manage the complex healthcare conditions through experiential learning to master clinical skills, virtual integrated case encounters to facilitate knowledge translation and clinical decision making training platform to master the mental reasoning process. Through the programme, we seek to develop students as innovative thinkers with scientific mindsets with capability in finding solutions and leading change to alter the nursing landscape in Singapore.
