To be eligible to apply for admission to the Master of Community Health, applicants need to present one of the following:
Master of Community Health
Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related discipline with a minimum GPA of 3.00; or
Bachelor’s degree with a relevant Graduate Diploma with a minimum GPA of 3.00; or
Bachelor’s degree with a relevant Graduate Certificate with a minimum GPA of 3.00 or
Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of relevant work experience
Other Requirements
Candidates with other qualifications and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis, subjected to approval.
As the medium of instruction is English, applicants whose native tongue and medium of University instruction is not English must complete the Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum score of 85 (internet-based test) or International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with a minimum score of 6
Grades and Units of courses taken in Graduate Certificate/Graduate Diploma programmes and individual graduate courses read may be transferred to the Master of Community Health subject to approval by the School. Each course to be transferred should have been read and completed within the last five (5) years. The School may reject applications for such transfer if it is deemed that the contents of the course(s) in question are no longer relevant or not of comparable content and level. Students are advised to apply for the transfers within the first month of candidature.
