Dr Chua Wei Ling is an Assistant Professor at the Alice Lee Centre for Nursing Studies (NUS Nursing), Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. She pursued her PhD degree was provided for by the NUS Research Scholarship.

Dr Chua’s research interests can be summed up using the acronym “”STORM””: i) Sepsis Care; (ii) Teamwork and patient safety; (iii) Older people; (iv) Rapid response system and clinical deterioration; and (v) Measurement theory. She is passionate about improving the recognition and response to deteriorating hospitalised patients, as well as raising sepsis awareness and knowledge among patients, public and healthcare professionals. She has presented her research work in National and International Conferences.
