Non-Graduating Programme

The research pillars in the Alice Lee Centre for Nursing Studies (NUS Nursing) aims to position nursing research at the forefront of the health care sciences. Teaching in the graduate research programmes aims to develop a dynamic, vital, and productive community of investigators who conduct rigorous research to establish the scientific and evidence base for patient care.

As a leading research university providing one of the top Nursing educations in Asia, graduate research students have the opportunity to engage in research activities in NUS Nursing. Each student will be under the supervision of a Faculty Member who will work with students’ home supervisor to provide support and guidance on the doctoral or master’s research including thesis writing and manuscript preparation during the research attachment in NUS Nursing. Students under this programme will not be allowed access to patients in healthcare institutions in Singapore and no degree will be awarded by the National University of Singapore (NUS).
