How to Apply

Application for the January intake opens from 1 September to 15 October every year.

a. Apply online at Graduate Admission System.

b. Refer to the Admission Checklist Upload all supporting documents into the Graduate Admission System.
NOTE: All supporting documents must be in English. If not, the documents must be accompanied by English Translation copies.

c. Obtain an official transcript of academic records from the university you have attended for your Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. You may choose one of the methods listed below:

    • Method 1Applicant to provide an official e-transcript via official university platforms such as ‘MyEquals’ or ‘OpenCerts’. Using the ‘share’ function in the platform, applicants may send the e-transcript to jess.cmh@nus.edu.sg.
      Applicants may check via the relevant university websites on the available e-transcript platforms.
      • Note: An email of softcopy/scanned copy transcript will not be accepted.

    • Method 2: Relevant university to mail hardcopy sealed official transcript directly to Master of Nursing address at:

d. Upload a Curriculum Vitae into the Graduate Admission System using the Curriculum Vitae Template.

e. Obtain recommendations from your Chief Nurse and from the Current Medical Head of Department. Applicants are required to provide the email address of the referees in the Graduate Admission System. Upon submission of the application, your referees will be requested to complete a referee report online.

Important:

The University has not engaged any external agencies to undertake student recruitment on its behalf. Candidates interested in our graduate programmes are advised to apply directly to the University and not through any agents.

Candidates who apply through agents will not have any added advantage in gaining admission and the University reserves the right to reject such applications without giving reasons.

Q & A

Q: How do I obtain my official e-transcript?
 

A: Applicants may check via the relevant University websites on the available e-transcript platforms such as MyEquals or OpenCerts, etc. Using the ‘share’ function in the platform, applicants may send the e-transcript to jess.cmh@nus.edu.sg .

Q: My University does not offer e-transcript options. Can I email a scanned copy?

A: Applicants may request the relevant University to email a print copy sealed as official transcript directly to NUS office address. An email of softcopy/scanned copy transcript will not be accepted.
