Entry Requirements
Applicants for admission to the BSc (Nursing Practice) require:
- A Diploma in Nursing from Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP) or Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP) obtained within the last 7 years at the time of application.
- Only candidates who have graduated in the years from 2018 to 2025 may apply to be considered for admission in AY2025/2026.
- Valid and current registration with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) and
- A minimum Grade Point Average of 3.00 obtained for Diploma in Nursing. Applicants with a Grade Point Average of < 3.00 may be considered on a case by case basis. An admission interview may be conducted on a case-by-case basis by the Programme Director.

Application period
Application for AY2024/2025 will commence from 3 February 2025 (Mon) to 20 April 2025 (Sun), 11:59pm.
Status of application shall be released in June 2025.

What happens after I have accepted the offer of admission?
You will need to undergo a pre-admission medical examination and X-ray, either at NUS Health and Wellness Centre or by any Singapore-registered physician. More information on the formalities required will be advised by us in due time.
Health Requirements
Admission to the BSc(Nursing Practice) programme may be subjected to the following stipulated by the Ministry of Health (MOH). These requirements are subject to changes in accordance with MOH. Candidates being offered a placement in the programme are required to complete and submit screening and vaccination declarations according to the latest MOH guidelines.
