NUS Medicine Ranked #1 in Asia and 18th Globally for Second Consecutive Year in QS World University Rankings 2025

NUS Medicine has once again affirmed its position as a global leader in medical education and research, securing the 18th spot worldwide in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2025. This marks the second consecutive year that NUS Medicine has maintained its place in the global top 20, and remains Asia’s #1 medical school.

The QS World University Rankings by Subject is one of the most widely recognised global benchmarks for academic excellence, assessing over 5,200 institutions across 55 subjects based on academic reputation, employer reputation, and research impact. 

NUS Medicine’s strong performance testifies to its greatly impactful contributions to medical innovation, education, and healthcare leadership on both a regional and international scale.
