NUS Medicine and the World Economic Forum will work together to showcase Singapore as the Forum’s first Centre for Health and Healthcare Country Lighthouse.

The partnership aims to highlight Singapore’s successful healthcare system transformation on a global stage, share best practices with other public and private sector leaders, and identify opportunities for public-private partnerships to advance health equity through digital healthcare transformation.

The project serves to identify key drivers of health inequities within Singapore and countries within the broader region, and pilot public-private projects to advance place-based partnerships and impact on health equity. Keeping the region in mind, the collaboration will pin point opportunities and potential approaches to leverage digital tools, data and AI in healthcare.

Such a partnership signals exciting initiatives on the horizon: establishment of a global dialogue and learning network while forming new partnerships and community, as well as engaging in testing and activation efforts.
